Apple makes PhotoFast stop sales of speedy 256 GB MacBook Air SSDs

Back in late October we reported that PhotoFast began selling SSD upgrade kits for Apple’s latest MacBook Air lineup. These upgrades are 256 GB SSD drives that run at USB 3.0 speeds. PhotoFast’s third-party SSD upgrade for the new MacBook Airs read and write at 250MB/s while Apple’s included SSD runs at between 150MB/s and 160MB/s.
